NCF RADIO NEWS & LIVE EVENTS

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is getting ready to finish off 2023 with a bang. This was a great year for electronic music and I’m hoping that 2024 is going to be even better.

I’m posting because I want to let you know that there are a bunch of new and exciting things in the works for 2024 here at NCF HQ. First thing to announce is that the first episode of Nickel City Frequencies will air on January 7th, 2024, 10 PM to Midnight EST feature Dream Thresh of Footwork Fetish in the guest slot. We’ll be airing a recording of the live set they played on December 29th, 2023 at Mickey Zogg’s in Bristol, UK. (Flyer below.)

In other news, I’m going to be making some new streaming appearances in February 2024. My last live set online was two years ago for my friend Psyfaun’s “Down the Rabbit Hole” digital festival. I’ve grown a ton stylistically since those days and I can’t wait to jump on the decks and play some of the new stuff that I’ve been digging.

You’ll be able to catch me on Sean Roman & Kelmo’s Lately Bass Radio from 7 PM to 9 PM EST broadcasting from the ISO.FM studio in Toronto. That mix will be viewable live on the ISO.FM Youtube as well as through the ISO website.

Later on that evening you’ll be able to catch me on NXLVL Selections with DJ Dynammo, DJ Fraktl and Ele, again viewable on the NXLVL Selections Youtube and on Twitch, streaming from 8 PM EST until late. I’m pulling a double booking on this one so expect me on the stream last most likely as I’ll be travelling between studios. πŸ˜‰

After my double helix of streams in Toronto I’ll be heading to see friend of the show Jomari on February 9th, 2024 to spin a set in his home studio. That session will be viewable on Jomari’s Youtube channel live and thereafter as well.

Also on March 13th, 2023 there will be a live event occurring in Greater Sudbury, Ontario at Lounge 390. Music from myself and Psyfaun in the vein of grime, techno, psytrance and neurofunk. Artwork is forthcoming and will be posted up here as soon as I have it.

There hasn’t been a whole lot posted to the website recently and I’m looking to change that in the new year as I have a number of different interview and feature ideas that I want to get into. I also have a huge backlog of music that I can review when I finally get down to it but IRL business has been taking priority up until now. Make sure to check back here regularly as I expect to have some new posts up soon.
